    Exposure to pesticides used on common kid-friendly foods - including frozen blueberries, fresh strawberries and celery - appears to boost the chances that children will be diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, new research shows.


    Board Election

    Below are statements from this year’s candidates to the board of directors. There are two seats open, each for a 3-year term. Your ballot for the board election and bylaws amendment is enclosed.

    Voting begins Sunday, August 29th at the Annual Picnic at Gomez Peak and ends Sunday, September 26th at 6:00 pm, at the General Membership Meeting (GMM) at the Silco Theatre. During the voting period, you may drop your ballot in the ballot box at the store, mail it to the Co-op (must be received by Friday, September 24th), or bring it to the GMM at the Silco Theatre by 6:00 pm.



    Gimme 5 Recycling is Here!

    Gimme 5 is a unique recycling program run by Preserve, maker of performance-driven and stylish 100% recycled household products, including the Preserve Toothbrush, Razor, Tableware and the award-winning Preserve Kitchen line. The program is a partnership between Preserve, Stonyfield Farm, Organic Valley and Whole Foods Market. Preserve’s Gimme 5 bins collect post-consumer recycled #5 plastic, which Preserve then turns into new products.
